Performance Clubworks' repair center has been designed and equipped to ensure we are able to handle any repair or customization need. We inventory an extensive selection of shafts and grips from all major manufacturers. Our goal is to offer Tour Level customization and repairs with ultra fast turnaround time.
All shafts installed by Performance Clubworks utilize shaft DNA, are Frequency and Multi - Matched
The Physics of DNA (Definitive Neutral Alignment)
DNA is Performance Clubworks' exclusive process that measures a shaft under both
constant and dynamic load to precisely locate the shaft's inconsistencies in shaft wall
thickness, shaft straightness, shaft roundness and shaft material.
When a “DNA” shaft is properly aligned in its definitive neutral position, the shaft
bends along the Principle Planar Oscillation Plane, the longitudinal plane of bending
through which a shaft can move as closely as possible to a perfect straight line with
no movement in any other direction. By decreasing the shaft's movement in directions
other than the final swing plane, Performance Clubworks can reduce shaft-induced
mis-hits and stabilize torsional stiffness for significantly better accuracy and feel.

The frequency analyzers currently available do not properly determine the actual frequency of shafts.
After some research we found that most frequency reading devices were built with clamps that were not rigid enough and electronics that were not fast enough to give us the data we required.
Through extensive shaft research, we discovered a machine that not only delivers the most accurate frequency readings in the industry, but also measures the precise shaft load to 1000th of a lb.. a leading shaft manufacturer designed their own unit to quality control and test their own prototype shafts.
What resulted is a research grade instrument designed to provide the most accurate frequency information available.
Made from heavy-duty performance parts, Performance Clubworks now has the most versatile, accurate and durable analyzer on the market.
The External Air clamping mechanism is constructed with a universal jig to accept gripped golf clubs or any size butt outside diameter, as well as the ability to accommodate tip section outside diameters for tip frequency readings.
The two adjustable pneumatic cylinders apply consistent pressure to the clamping mechanisms for the most precise readings.
High performance infrared sensors are employed to detect the oscillation of any shaft, whether the shaft is oscillating is in circular motion or not.
Frequency readings are instantaneous and do not require the shaft to oscillate for an extended period of time.
The "DNA" function allows load cell readings expressed in Lbs. to identify the local bending properties of a shaft, since they are independent of frequency.
Performance Clubworks obtains 72 load cell readings 360* around the shaft to test circumflex integrity. This function was designed identify asymmetries at all points of a shaft in terms of resistance to bending.
